Sheryl Crockett Tishman is an avid environmental activist and currently sits on the National Board of Trust for Public Land, The NorthLight Foundation (Sheryl and Dan Tishman’s Family Foundation), and The Board of Trustees for Mountainfilm. Sheryl is a former Trustee of The Open Space Institute, the National Audubon Society Expedition Institute, Mianus River Gorge Preserve, The George Mitchell Scholarship Foundation, the Teton Valley Ranch Camp, and The Meade School. She holds a BS in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College and MS in Education from Lesley University. In her spare time she enjoys all outdoor pursuits, especially wilderness travel.
